Position Summary

IEM is looking for a Full-Time HR Coordinator to support the administrative processes of the HR Department.

Primary Location:
  • Candidates can originate from anywhere in the United States (highly preferring east or central coast applicants), , you will work remotely from home or personal office location
  • All remote work environments require the ability to maintain minimum Internet speeds of 25 Mbps upload and 3 Mbps download, as well as a ping rate of 100 ms or less during working hours, regardless of the type and number of devices using your Internet connection. You must also have account privileges and access to your Internet service provider account during working hours for the purposes of maintaining the Internet connection, if needed.

Essential Functions
  • Provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry
  • Assist with ensuring a stellar onboarding experience for new employees
  • Coordinate the employee offboarding process
  • Utilize applicant tracking system
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation
  • Files documents into appropriate employee files
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred
  • 2 years' experience within Human Resources
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
