Responsibilities

• Draft corporate record documents and record keeping for all MTX entities
• Assist General Counsel in implementation of contract compliance efforts
• Responsible for assisting with project bid documents
• Assist General Counsel in preparation for board and shareholder meetings
• Review various contracts and prepare them for final review by attorneys
• Legal Research
• Collaborate with business units to keep policies updated
• Assist General Counsel with Human Resources support
• Other tasks as assigned

What You Will Bring

• Paralegal certification from accredited institution and a minimum of 8 years of corporate paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house law department (extensive experience without certification will be considered)
• Extensive knowledge of corporate record documents and record keeping done internally and with secretaries of state
• Excellent research skills on Westlaw and its related programs
• Proficient in Google Sheets OR Excel
• Proficient in Power Point
• Exceptional recordkeeping and communication skills
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, energetic environment
• A team attitude and willingness to step in to help with any need
• Leave any ego at the door and become part of a friendly, loyal and exceptional team of legal professionals who treat each other with respect, compassion and humor
• Ability to stand and sit for sustained periods of time, at least 50%
• Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data; transcribing/typing; viewing a computer; extensive reading
