Position Summary:

Reporting Directly to the Sr. Director, Enterprise Security & Compliance the InfoSec Engineer will be part of our Internal Security team, playing a central role in ensuring seamless protection by diving into vulnerability management, application security, incident response, automation, cloud security, product security, logging and event correlation, fine-tuning our alert systems and detections and more.

In this role you’ll get to:

  • Ensure operational compliance of security infrastructure to set standards.
  • Investigate and respond to internal security alerts.
  • Support Incident Response operations, including being on call rotation for critical events.
  • Actively participate in risk assessments, vulnerability management, and investigations.
  • Monitor cloud apps for adherence to internal security benchmarks, especially in AWS.
  • Collaborate with engineers, developers, and stakeholders to address security risks.
  • Offer mitigation suggestions within the Secure Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Manage, train individuals, and review findings for SAST/DAST tools, providing actionable insights.
  • Educate on common security flaws and remediation strategies like OWASP Top 10.
  • Contribute to bug bounty program management and external researcher collaboration.
  • Assist in creating security processes and automated tools for issue prevention.
  • Ensure product security measures align with established standards and protocols.
  • Implement and maintain security measures specific to AWS cloud environments.
  • Monitor data loss prevention, insider risk, and web content filtering measures.
  • Conduct security awareness and phishing simulation exercises.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to:

  • Demonstrate prior experience within a robust Security Team.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Splunk, Tenable, Synk, Wiz, StackHawk, CrowdStrike, and Okta.
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI-DSS standards.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current security principles, techniques, and protocols.
  • Expertise in AWS and its security-related services (IAM, SecurityHub, SecurityGroups, WAF).
  • Proficiency in automation tools such as Torq or BlinkOps for reporting and task automation.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Kubernetes.
  • Proficient use of GitHub.

ITAR Compliance

Statutory Pay Disclosure:

For applicants in NYC, CO, CA, RI, and WA, the salary range for this role is $106,250 to $150,000 + stock options + benefits. Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
