Kongregate has an opening for a junior-level Motion Graphics Designer. This temp-to-hire role is a great opportunity to not only working in the gaming industry, but to work with and learn from a talented marketing team as you grow your career. In this role you will help to create a broad array of marketing graphics and creative assets for Kongregate game titles.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Work with Senior Marketing Artists to create a variety of marketing assets.
• Ability to concept and build out all of the store and marketing assets for a single game title.
• Juggle multiple projects and game titles with aggressive timelines.
• Collaborate with and contribute to the overall success of the marketing team’s goals

Motion Graphics Designer Qualifications

• Have a portfolio demonstrating a range of relevant work, including experience with Motion Graphics
• Must be familiar with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Animate (After Effects is a plus)
• Accredited Associate degree in Fine Arts or Graphic Design required - although a portfolio of work demonstrating a comparable level of education may be accepted in substitution; accredited Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• Minimal knowledge of industry standard design practices or a willingness to learn.

As a Motion Graphics Designer you will create everything from static advertisements, animated gifs, store screenshots and icons, and possibly video content. You will work with a variety of existing art assets, in different file formats, and transform them into dynamic, compelling marketing creatives.
