DXC Technology is seeking to identify highly motivated individuals for an opportunity as a CHECK Team Member Penetration Tester

This vacancy is for a high calibre candidate to join Cyber Defence’s successful Threat and Vulnerability Management team

We are looking for a proven background in Penetration Testing together with either CREST, Tiger Scheme or Cyber Scheme certifications at the Team Member Level and CHECK scheme experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate a keen interest in this area of information security and satisfy our technical team that they have the right areas of expertise/interest. They must hold a valid driver’s license, be flexible in approach to travel and home working as the role will require both and hold UK Security clearance.

The primary purpose of the vacancy is to be part of the Penetration Testing Team providing delivery to the internal, account facing and client customers. This will require conducting pen tests, occasionally leading pen tests and creating, reviewing and correcting testing scopes and reports, as well as longer term mentoring and guidance of subordinates on and away from testing engagements. This role is for an experienced Pen tester with the requisite certifications, clearance, and experience.

The successful candidate will already have a UK security clearance and possibly be willing to extend that clearance to a deeper level as required.

The role will be based from home, with travel and home working being required when necessary. No Regular office attendance is mandatory.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience of delivering Penetration testing and familiarity with UK Pen Testing industry schemes and bodies
• Excellent technical, communication and people skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales
• An understanding of client satisfaction and successful relationships
• Candidates should be self directed, innovative, proactive, pragmatic and highly motivated
• Pre sales and solutioning for penetration testing.
