Our product provides the knowledge, recommendations, and support that our members need, all in one interactive tool. We are seeking a highly motivatedProduct Manager to join our team. The Product Manager will be responsible for coordinating with engineering, marketing, client success, and other teams. They develop the product requirements and roadmaps, feature prioritization and aligning the work with overall product vision and strategy. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Group Product Manager with lots of opportunity to grow.

Location

Homethrive is a remote-first culture, with headquarters in Chicago, IL. Teams meet once every quarter for planning purposes at our headquarters office.

What you will do:

  • Deeply understanding customer needs and defining a long-term vision for how Homethrive will help make their lives easier
  • Developing hypotheses for customer and uses cases and rapidly iterating through hypotheses to find product market fit for various use cases quickly
  • Putting together a holistic understanding of customer base, sources of funnel conversion including repeat usage and churn and identify biggest opportunities to form a cohesive strategy
  • Identifying the core challenges among existing Homethrives users that have prevented them from using this product and designing experiences to help overcome them
  • Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, careguides and sales to align stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Communicate product features, benefits, and roadmap to customers and throughout the company and present demos of the product to potential clients.
  • Monitor key product metrics and performance indicators and iterate on the product as necessary to improve performance and user experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years experience delivering successful and innovative products with your fingerprints all over them
  • Technical savviness. Can manifest in different ways: a computer science undergraduate degree, hands-on software engineering experience, or experiences building complex software products side by side with engineers. Technical understanding must go from the highest abstractions down to the metal
  • Attention to detail. The ability to obsess over every single part of the experience
  • Customer obsession. The ability to take on complex product challenges and find elegant, simplifying solutions to avoid making them our user's and partner’s problems
  • Data driven. You find a way to get the data you need and whip it into an insightful story with no help. You know how to leverage this data to make decisions without getting stuck in analysis paralysis
  • Action oriented. You are biased toward action, a great collaborator, a master disambiguator/simplifier, and constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery
  • Grittiness. You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on
  • A high bar across the board — from your own contributions to the people you work with to the products you work on
  • A never-ending desire to grow and learn
