About the Role:
The Customer Service Specialist plays a crucial role within the customer service team, addressing customer inquiries, issues, and requests from commercial insurance clients and partners.
Responsibilities
- Responsive Service Delivery:
- Manage tier 1 customer interactions via phone, email, and platforms, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Adhere to set SLA’s in a consistent and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with team members to handle various tasks such as email requests, policy issuance, and communication follow-ups.
- Effective Issue Resolution:
- Utilize expertise in Workers Comp to address policy, billing, and agency queries.
- Establish and nurture relationships with partners and internal teams, ensuring consistent communication.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues while anticipating and preventing future challenges.
- Advocate for customer needs and perspectives.
- Continuous Learning:
- Engage in ongoing training.
- Fulfill other assigned duties as necessary.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree or relevant coursework preferred.
- Preferably 1 year of customer service experience.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic problem-solving capabilities to address simple issues swiftly with guidance.
- Demonstrated self-direction and responsibility towards tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, fostering collaborative relationships.
- Proficiency in G-Suite tools, Salesforce, and collaboration platforms like Slack; familiarity with office equipment.

Location & Remote Work
This role offers the option for a hybrid or remote work setup.
