The Solution Specialist’s duties include protocol review, solution/budget development, sales support, and acting as solutions/operations liaison. This individual supports the Protocol Review Team’s efforts by representing one primary product line and related portal and reporting via Trial Oversight Business Intelligence.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate proficiency in understanding Clario’s product offering and operational delivery for one primary product line, and related portal and reporting via Trial Oversight Business Intelligence.
  • Analyze new opportunities to define creative and strategic solutions to best leverage Clario’s products and offerings to the benefit of new and existing clients and partners within targeted product lines and BI reporting.
  • Identify solution needs in all new RFPs within target product lines and BI reporting.
  • Participate in daily Solutions calls by attending scheduled calls, completing the budget tool with solution inputs, and uploading solution to Salesforce after call.
  • Identify solution changes in rebid opportunities through review of new study documentation (if applicable), client feedback, and/or communication from business development.
  • Produce thoughtful proposal content to clearly convey the envisioned solution throughout the proposal process as needed.
  • Understand product integration offerings to recommend other Clario products.
  • Liaise with product sales specialist, Clients, internal and external teams, operational, and/or scientific teams to review unique solution designs.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to transition a project from the business development process to the project implementation phase; including Sales to Service and Kick-Off meetings, if necessary.
  • Ensure sharing and implementing of best practices across the solutions team.
  • Participate in pricing tool testing as required.
  • Solicits feedback from others and is eager to find ways to improve.
  • Act as a representative for the Company, ensuring Clario products and services are consistently presented in a strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders.
  • Act as an effective team member possessing a range of practical skills and demonstrating flexibility at all times.
  • Collaborate with Product Management team to maintain working knowledge of current and future product offerings.
  • Participates in meetings with Sales Operations team, Sales to Service meetings, and other departmental meetings as needed.

Other Duties And Responsibilities

  • Assist in the mentoring and training of staff.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor, influencing client and key stakeholder interactions to use Clario as a preferred supplier.
  • Know when and where to escalate within the organization, and make effective use of those resources.
  • Provides other support and takes on other responsibilities as defined by team lead or team management.
  • Competently prioritizes tasks and manages own workload to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Support team members by offering help on projects and/or with technical questions.
  • Performs other duties, assignments or special projects as needed.

Education

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS NEEDED:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in science, psychology, public health, medicine, or a closely related field is strongly preferred. However, any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform job duties may be considered.

Experience

  • A minimum of 1 - 3 years’ relevant work experience including working in solution engineering and/or commercial organizations.
  • Able to prioritize multiple projects and work in a fast paced environment with short timelines.
  • Familiarity with protocols, either in development or technology design application, required.
  • Pharmaceutical and/or CRO background a significant plus.
  • Experience in a fast paced, multi-task environment; ability to work independently and under pressure, handling large volume without sacrificing quality.
  • Exceptional computer skills (MS office suite minimum).
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent personal interaction skills, professional telephone and client interaction skills.
  • Excellent judgment, attention to detail, communication and customer skills plus the ability to work as part of a team as well as individual contributor.
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization and viewed as a team player.
