What You’ll Do

The Contracts and Legal Operations Specialist will be an integral part of the Ministry Brands Legal team with a primary focus on supporting our high-volume contracting practice and managing Ironclad. This role will provide the opportunity for the right candidate to work on other legal projects supporting critical activities in a sophisticated, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Owning and optimizing Ministry Brands’ use of Ironclad by maintaining and building workflows, contract flow from Salesforce to Ironclad, maintaining the central contract repository, and managing contract metadata and creating insights and reports to track the contract lifecycle
  • Supporting Legal team by providing first legal review and redline of contractual documents, identifying potential risks and issues in contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant policies, obtaining input to contract terms from other internal departments and assisting with negotiation of contracts
  • Provide guidance and support to sales, procurement, and other employees on contract-related matters and use of the Ironclad system
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders in sales, sales operations, and procurement to continuously improve our contracting processes
  • Maintain corporate records, including minute books, corporate filings, and other corporate governance needs
  • Support budget management by engaging with law firms to track outside legal spend
  • Lead or support additional projects as needed
  • Understand Ministry Brands’ business, its people, products, services, industry, and regulatory requirements to support the business in meeting its overall objectives

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2 – 4 years’ experience in contract management, including at least 1 year of experience as Ironclad Administrator. Experience with Salesforce a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously in a dynamic environment with frequent shifts in priority
  • Knowledge and experience with technology and software agreements
  • Knowledge of legal contractual terms, conditions, and agreement hierarchy and structure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Technologically savvy with a willingness to independently learn new technical skills
