About

About the Role

Due to higher than normal hiring volume, Second Nature is looking to bring on a contract recruiter to join our team. This will be a full-time 40-hour per week position, without benefits. The recruiter will own full cycle recruiting for their assigned roles, including sourcing, screening, scheduling, and closing candidates. This is a key role as we hire the right team to help us execute on and achieve our strategic goals.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Recruit top talent for new and backfill roles
  • Complete a minimum of 20 30-minute phone screens per week
  • Serve as the the central touch point for all candidates and managers in the recruiting process for their assigned reqs
  • Track key recruiting metrics (pipeline stats, DEI stats, candidates hired)
  • Ensure a high bar is held across all hiring efforts
  • Serve as an ambassador of Second Nature to current and prospective candidates
  • Model Second Nature’s core values
  • Leverage competency based interviewing techniques to ensure a fair and standardized candidate experience
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and interview teams to accelerate speed to hire and refine requisition requirements as needed
  • Work in systems including JazzHR, Slack, and LinkedIn recruiter

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience recruiting in a fast-paced startup environment
  • 2+ year experience sourcing, screening, and scheduling candidates
  • The ability to work standard full-time hours on an EST or CST schedule
