We are looking for a Sales Compensation Administration Analyst, who will be an important part of our Sales Compensation team and will be primarily responsible for the overall administration of the Sales Compensation program for the sales organization. As a company, we are experiencing fast growth and are constantly building and optimizing our programs and processes. The successful candidate is one who will be comfortable in dynamic, fast-paced environments, and demonstrates a natural drive to get the job done. This role will be instrumental in driving efficiency within the sales compensation program.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain sales compensation plans within the compensation management system, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with company policies.
  • Accurately calculate and process sales commissions, bonuses, and incentives based on established compensation plans, sales targets, and performance metrics.
  • Analyze sales performance data to verify accuracy of compensation calculations, identify discrepancies, and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of compensation plans, processes, and guidelines to ensure consistency and transparency.
  • Effectively communicate compensation-related information to sales representatives, management, and other relevant stakeholders, addressing inquiries and concerns as needed.
  • Generate regular and ad hoc reports on compensation performance, trends, and metrics for management and finance teams.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline compensation processes, enhance accuracy, and improve overall efficiency of compensation administration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and HR to gather necessary information, resolve issues, and implement process improvements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of work experience in a Sales Compensation role or related function
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills including experience with functions, pivot tables, modeling, etc.
  • Experience with CallidusCloud or a Top Tier SPM Solution (e.g. Xactly, Varicent, etc..)
  • BS/BA Degree or equivalent, preferably with an analytical background

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a SaaS environment
  • Experience working in a remote heavy organization
  • Demonstrated analytical skill and past experience on deriving insights from data
  • Experience with Salesforce.com

Minimum salary of $50,000 to maximum $132,600.

In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.

These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual's base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role.

Location: In this role, you can work remotely from anywhere in the United States.
