About the job

The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) is responsible for developing innovative methods to source, evaluate, pipeline, and deliver a diverse pool of qualified candidates across multiple job functions, career levels, and geographic markets. Additionally, the TAS cultivates and fosters relationships with their Recruiting partners, hiring managers, and various other stakeholders and networks to deliver upon both immediate short-term talent needs and strategic long-term projects.

Responsibilities

  • Understand ongoing hiring needs of their business and establish the right sourcing mix to generate a strong pool of talent for open roles
  • Draft & publish attractive job advertisements on job portals and social media
  • Reaching out to target talent via social networks
  • Designing & conducting engaging talent outreach campaigns together with the team
  • Speaking with applicants about requirements for job applications & engagement
  • Analyze the recruitment needs, define the candidates’ profiles, and identify new sourcing channels.
  • Organize initiatives and events aiming to develop the professional network of contacts with the potential to find the appropriate candidates for the respective open positions; identify new opportunities for Company brand image development and cooperate with various organizations;
  • Perform systematic analysis of the labor market in area to monitor potentially suitable candidates for the Company
  • Administrate Ambassador and R2W referral programs; keep in touch and support the participants in the programs if the need arises;
  • Participate in job fairs, presentations, and other recruitment-related public activities in coordination with the team leader of Talent Acquisition;
  • Work systematically to develop the Company Brand image as an employer.
  • Assist in developing advertising/branding programs to ensure high visibility with potential candidates
  • Focus on all recruiting activities to foster and grow

REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior experience within talent acquisition in a sourcing role
  • Strong knowledge of various sourcing tools & methodologies
  • Able to work independently with a high level of professionalism and motivation.
  • Able to multi-task and maintain composure in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage strong relationships with a broad range of individuals at various levels of the organization.
  • Superior sales and presentation skills, high energy level, and a sense of creativity to effectively match candidates with the company's needs, and to positively portray TELUS and its culture, values, and priorities.
  • Demonstrated capabilities for successfully sourcing diverse candidates are preferred.
  • Experience using creative sourcing strategies and resume mining.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Excellent Polish and English language skills
