About The Role

Veho's Accounting team is looking for a Staff Accountant to support daily accounting functions. You will support payments processing, routine daily transactions and ad hoc projects. Veho's Accounting team is made up of diverse, smart, humble teammates that value process improvement, operational excellence and team success. This role requires excellent communication, organization, and ability to manage and work with a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Support daily accounting functions
• Prepare monthly and annual reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts
• Review and analyze general ledger accounts on an add needed basis
• Resolve and review accounting discrepancies
• Prepare annual audit supporting schedules and work with accounting team on annual audits
• Supporting the accounting team on special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional or internship experience in Accounting, Finance or related field
• B.A. or B.S. Degree in Finance/Accounting or similar field
• Well-organized, can prioritize and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail
• Team player, strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High emotional intelligence, ability to build and sustain relationships at multiple levels within and outside of finance
• Passionate and persistent about operational excellence

The starting salary for this role is $49,450. The actual salary is dependent upon many factors, such as education, experience, and skills. The pay range is subject to the discretion of the Company.
