Marketing Specialist

SS&C Salentica is looking for a detail-oriented marketer who can help drive initiatives forward. A curious thinker who can step into a growth-oriented company to master the workflows and internal processes required to execute campaigns. From day one, this individual will contribute to existing marketing programs, while assisting with the development of new initiatives. The marketing coordinator must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects from tradeshow coordination, social media planning, content creation, and sales enablement activity.

• Assist in the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies and campaigns
• Support Marketing by setting objectives, planning and organizing promotional presentations, and updating calendars
• Learn internal workflows and assist with collaboration across business units and teams
• Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics required for measuring success
• Continually identify improvements in processes, content, and lead generation

Daily And Monthly Responsibilities

• Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to the Salentica sales team, and provide instructions for their use or promotion
• Manage marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, testing, and database management
• Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring a consistent voice
• Plan and manage meetings and live events with assistance and direction from Manager
• Maintain a directory and inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed
• Maintain social media calendar
• Continually seek and research new sources for content
• A motivated individual who enjoys problem-solving
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task efficiently
• Adaptable to various software/business applications
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• Previous financial services experience is a plus, but not required
