Overview
This role is responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, configuring, and troubleshooting Workday Financials functionality related to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Business Assets, Settlement, General Ledger, Intercompany, Inventory, Procurement, Reporting, etc.
What You Will Be Doing
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Workday Financials functionality in a timely manner with minimal oversight
- Take proactive measures to identify and improve internal efficiencies
- Collaborate across the business to understand requirements, configuration, and testing of Workday solutions for varying business problems including business process updates, custom validations, condition rules and calculated fields to optimize the use of Workday
- Provide support and training of Workday Financials to other team members
- Mid-level understanding of Workday security including domains and security groups
- Assist with the creation and editing of all different types of Workday custom reports (composite, matrix, advanced, simple, etc.), dashboards, worksheets, and discovery boards
- Knowledge and experience with most of the following modules/products/features is preferred: Banking and Settlement, Supplier
- Accounts, Cash Management, Inventory, Customer Accounts, Business Assets, Financial Accounting, Procurement, Accounting Center,
- Consolidations, Intercompany, Account Posting Rules
- Help enable and ensure the integrity and optimization of processes like lead-to-cash, procure-to-pay, month-end close, year-end close, audits, etc.
- Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation to support training, knowledge transfer and change management
- Monitor Workday Community for updates and quickly research issues or questions
- Evaluate the latest available features released by Workday to determine impact and benefits
- Implement new functionality, as needed
- Manage and participate in testing for Workday bi-annual releases across all of Financials
- Assist with the implementation of new Workday modules
- Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland’s Information Systems Security Policy
What Will Make You Successful
- Bachelor's degree
- Significant experience as a Workday Financials systems administrator, Workday Pro preferred
- Experience with accounting or financial reporting
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours (evenings, weekends, etc.), as needed
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Attentive to detail, as demonstrated by thorough testing and regularly verifying all work thoroughly to ensure accuracy
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Speak and write English with ease, clarity, and impact, using a communication style appropriate to the subject and the audience
- Demonstrated ability to write concise, logical, grammatically correct documentation
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion
- Excellent collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with cross functional teams
- Up to 10% travel time required
- Based on individual states’ employment laws, the following details are to comply with the relevant salary posting requirements: base salary range of $69,600-$104,400 and eligible for bonus and benefits
