Position Summary

The Customer Service Associate is responsible for receiving inbound calls from members, providers and clients. This associate will respond to questions from callers, solve problems, as well as triaging calls to appropriate Healthmap departments or team members. The associate will keep customer satisfaction at the core of every conversation and decision.

Work hours: Monday to Friday - 11:30am to 8:00pm EST.

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls from members, providers or clients
  • Perform outbound calls and respond to voicemails timely
  • Follow communication scripts
  • Identify caller needs, clarify information, research issues and respond appropriately
  • Accurate documentation into Healthmap Solutions’ documentation system
  • Meet qualitative and quantitative goals
  • Comply with all OSHA and HIPAA policies along with all policies and procedures established by Healthmap
  • Protect and maintain confidentiality of company and customer information, policies, and processes
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or equivalent GED
  • 1+ year of experience in a contact center environment required
  • 1-3 years of experience in the clinical setting or managed care setting preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently including after call work
  • Willing to work in a collaborative team environment

Skills

  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal) is required
  • Analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and organize to complete assignments in an efficient and timely manner
  • Familiarity with working with dual computer monitors
  • Ability to multitask between multiple systems simultaneously
  • Must have working knowledge of Windows based computer environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel is required
