About the job

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest. Affirm, Inc. proudly includes Affirm, PayBright, and Returnly.

At Affirm, we’re building honest financial products that improve lives. Our mission infuses every aspect of our consumer experience, from the moment a user sees Affirm for the first time all the way through to their final payment.

The Omnichannel Product team is responsible for unlocking the next frontier of Buy Now Pay Later, whereby purchases happen both online and in-store. The future of commerce is omnichannel. Shopping journeys will span various online and offline channels and Affirm’s products will evolve to support the most critical needs.

We’ve already seen success from recent product launches at merchants like Target, Walmart and Peloton. Moving forward, we’re looking for a Product Manager to supercharge this growth! You’ll be responsible for owning the product strategy and corresponding roadmap to support omnichannel growth. You’ll dream up, build and launch new features alongside your respective teammates in Engineering, Design, Analytics, User Research and Business.

What You'll Do

  • Build omnichannel experiences that make it easy for consumers to discover and use Affirm in-store
  • Become an expert on our merchants, consumers, product offering, industry and omnichannel competitors to craft the product strategy. Partner closely with the business to build a cohesive GTM plan
  • Define new products and features with specs, wireframes, and product flows
  • Define key metrics for success and analyze the user impact of product features with airtight A/B tests
  • Collaborate across functions including engineering, design, operations, legal, compliance, and product to successfully launch and scale products

What We Look For

  • Passion and curiosity for changing consumer finance for the better
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for detailed articulations of customer problems
  • A growth mindset used to improve yourself each and every day
  • Experience leading technical software products from kick-off to post-launch
  • A get-things-done mentality to ensure your product's and team's success - whether that means writing a QA plan or investigating the root cause of a customer support ticket
  • The ability to turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into a compelling action plan
  • An obsession for getting the details right, but also knowing how to deliver on time
  • A tendency to question assumptions and validate hypotheses with quantitative and qualitative data
