The Client Financial Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day financial management of our business units. The analyst will be required to highlight key issues and minimize exposure items to the finance manager that may impact profitability or negative cash flow. The client financial analyst will have direct contact with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership and office leads.

General responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating all financial aspects or needs of a client including, but not limited to:
  • Managing client financial onboarding
  • Preparing, reviewing, and approving invoices, in conjunction with account service
  • Managing accounts receivable
  • Monitoring accruals and budgets
  • Leading financial review meetings
  • Preparing and reviewing external and internal client reporting
  • Partnering with the finance manager to review and record monthly revenue recognition
  • Driving financial processes and compliance with FPG policies
  • Partnering with/influencing client teams to ensure productive and accurate client financial management
  • Assisting with other ad hoc financial projects

What it takes:

  • Ability to prepare and analyze financial documents
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized and detail-driven
  • Self-starter mentality
  • Strong time-management skills

Know-how:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred.
  • Solid understanding of accounting concepts (debits/credits, revenue recognition)
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, etc) and pivot tables
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Experience in a billable hour environment is preferred, but not required
