Description: SharePoint System Analyst
Responsible for providing administration technical support and end-user support of SharePoint and Microsoft O365 and other communication productivity and collaboration platform and services (on-premises and cloud).
Accountabilities
- Provide timely and quality end-user and system administrative support for the Office 365 and other collaboration platforms.
- Provide day to day system administration and support guidance to the Collaboration Systems Analysts.
- Escalation point for Collaboration Systems Analysts for incidents and problems.
- Provides 24x7 end-user and system administration incident and problem resolution services as required.
- Analyzes end-user and collaboration requirements and implements approved recommendations.
- Develop and improve and system administration and support processes and standards. Participates in the evaluation and design of new and existing communication productivity and collaboration products.
- Follows quality assurance processes to ensure proper system operation optimum performance and absence of defects.
- Participates in and provides the required support of collaboration projects. Lead small to mid-size collaboration projects and initiatives.
- Prioritizes incidents and problems and manages escalation.
- Works collaboratively with support staff technical staff and vendors to resolve incidents and problems.
- Initiates root-cause analysis and solves complex end-user and system administration problems.
- Tracks and trends problems and makes recommendations towards resolution. Creates and maintains documentation. Provides end-user and staff collaboration tools training as required.
