A Talent Acquisition (TA) Coordinator is responsible for supporting the talent acquisition or recruitment team in various administrative tasks and ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process. Their main objective is to assist in sourcing, attracting, evaluating, and hiring qualified candidates for job openings within an organization. The TA Coordinator will participate in intake meetings to understand the expectations of the role for effective sourcing. In addition, this role will use analytics to ensure recruitment efforts are pointed and effective.

Your Impact

  • Prepare and post job advertisements on various job boards, social media platforms, and the company's career page. Ensure that job descriptions are accurate and appealing to attract suitable candidates.
  • Utilize various recruitment methods such as resume databases, online platforms, networking, and referrals to identify potential candidates for open positions. Conduct preliminary candidate screening to assess qualifications and fit.
  • Review incoming job applications and resumes, and screen candidates based on pre-defined criteria. Maintain an organized system to track candidate progress and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) or databases accordingly.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Arrange logistics, such as interview rooms, video conference links, and travel arrangements if necessary. Communicate interview details to candidates and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
  • Serve as the backup point of contact for candidates during the recruitment process. Respond to candidate inquiries, provide updates on application status, and ensure timely and professional communication at all stages.
  • Conduct reference checks and coordinate background screenings or assessments as required. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal and company policies throughout the process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment data, including candidate information, interview outcomes, and recruitment metrics. Generate reports and provide analysis on recruitment activities to help identify trends and improve the hiring process.
  • Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to facilitate the onboarding process for selected candidates. Coordinate new hire paperwork, and conduct pre-employment checks.

  • A passion for creative candidate sourcing, forward-thinking advertising and creating the ultimate candidate experience
  • Proven success working in high volume, multi-faceted environment(s) managing multiple projects that require exceptional customer service, proactive strategic decision making, critical thinking and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential to effectively interact with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to self-motivate and work independently
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, including the ability to offer out-of-the-box and creative solutions to recruiting challenges
  • Maintaining a high level of integrity, ethical conduct, and adherence to legal guidelines regarding candidate privacy and data protection is critical.
  • Other requirements include: High School diploma required
  • 1+ years of experience in a like-minded recruiting or coordination environment highly preferred
  • Proven experience with Boolean search functions
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Conceptual knowledge of diverse sourcing toolkit that includes job boards, search engines, niche sites, Linkedln and other social media, passive lead generation, etc.
  • Ability to travel by auto or commercial transportation up to 10% same day and overnight to carry out essential responsibilities.
