Primary Purpose Of Position

Assists in the management of corporate insurance programs. Manages insurance related requests from internal and external stakeholders and assists in the preparation of insurance submissions and presentations. Participates in the day-to-day operations of the insurance department. Interfaces with Constellation corporate personnel, insurance brokers and insurer staff regarding insurance programs.

Primary Duties And Accountabilities

  • Manages Certificate of Insurance requests from internal stakeholders. 15%
  • Develop strong working relationship with Legal, Supply and Commercial Organizations, and other stakeholders to expand awareness of insurance and risk issues. 20%
  • Provides insurance department support for compliance requirements and invoice processing. 20%
  • Manages the surety bond reporting process with accounting and finance groups. 20%
  • Provides insurance department support for policy audits, presentation preparations and renewal submissions. 25%

JOB SCOPE

  • Perrform analytical and administrative tasks necessary to support the management of specific lines of insurance coverage.
  • Assist the Insurance Department to efficiently insure Constellation’s corporate assets through best practice risk management techniques.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with insurance brokers, insurers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support the administration of corporate insurance programs, review insurance policies and coordinate the payment of invoices and broker services.
  • Assist with the coordination of insurance policy audits.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Highly organized, attention to detail, ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or related degree.
  • Completion of insurance related professional designation a plus (Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) or Associate in Risk Management (ARM)). If not present, commitment to matriculate required.
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Passport.
  • Ability to multitask, with an advanced level of organizational, oral and written communication skills
