As a Security Systems Engineer on the Systems Infrastructure Platform team, you are responsible for the success of Hagerty’s most mission critical systems. This includes managing our full stack of compute and storage hardware, virtualization platform, OS, and application support.

What You'll Do

• Manage and monitor all systems and storage infrastructure on-prem, including configurations, testing, and maintenance
• Work as part of an agile team to complete requests to provision resources and resolve issues
• Ensure patch compliance across our full stack of compute and storage hardware, virtualization platform, OS, and applications
• Work closely with Cybersecurity teams to address emerging security threats
• Automate common tasks via scripting and infrastructure as code
• Provide written playbooks for other team members use
• Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley and ISO 27001/27002 compliance
• Participate in on-call rotation

• Ability to work on your own and collaboratively with other team members
• Ability to write clear documentation in English
• Extensive experience in a Systems/DevOps Engineer role supporting Security in an enterprise environment
• Hands on experience supporting applications running on Windows Server
• Hands on experience managing converged compute hardware
• Hands on experience managing VM’s deployed to VMware ESXi
• Hands on experience managing high performance SAN and NAS
• Hands on experience operating in AWS or other cloud
• Ability to write scripts in Python, PowerShell or bash

• Prior experience with SolarWinds
• Prior experience with Ansible
• Prior experience with Terraform
• Prior experience with Containerization
• AWS Certified Security - Specialty
• CISSP, GIAC SANS or other relevant security certifications
